Eternal Mercurial Recurrence (永劫水銀回帰, Eigou Suigin Kaiki) also called the Fourth Heaven. Ruled by The Mercury and the setting of Dies Irae.
Referred to by Reinhard as a "ghetto of eternal foreknowledge", this world has been repeating countless times, due to Mercurius' law. By hooking up his paradoxical nature to the Throne, this world was the beginning of timelines and the multiverse, with the Throne transformed from a machine that rules over a single universe to a metaphysical device that rules over a multiverse. In which, cause a complete Transcendence God to exist for the first time in Throne eras.
Due to the repetitious nature of this world, those with an intense connection to Mercurius gain a sensation of Foreknowledge: a kind of Deja Vu, in truth limited awareness of previous iterations of the Eternal Recurrence, allowing them to predict what is it that will happen next.
Terminology[]
The Sense of Foreknowledge[]
is a result of The Mercurial Snake's law that cause a constant time loop. Those who possess it are stuck with a constant feeling of deja vu, the sense that they had already experienced the current moment, as a result of them subconsciously accessing lingering memories of past iterations.
Ahnenerbe[]
It's a term generally used to categorize any magical object that has obtained a will of its own as a result of the surge of emotion and feeling that goes into said object stemming from many people throughout history.
Deities[]
A personification of natural phenomena such as water, fire, lighting, or darkness. Similar to sorcery, all of them originate from Mercurius. Methuselah, the deity of darkness, is the one that lived the longest.
Sorcery[]
Also known as Magic, is the practice of defying the rules of the world to cause various phenomena that can't be explained with science. In the early day, sorcery is a common practice. Things such as a floating castle or fantastical beast is a normal occurrence. The decline of sorcery is caused by the deterioration of Mercurius, who is the originator of magic.
Ewigkeit[]
A form of sorcery that allows a wielder to form a symbiotic relationship with their Relic. By taking a vast amount of souls, the wielder also grows stronger in return. The wielder also gains lifeforce equivalent to the amount of lives they devoured, which vastly augment their physical capabilities while making it harder for them to die.
There are four levels of Ewigkeit
- Assiah, The first level of the Ewigkeit formula, the characteristic that indicates the Soul Relic has manifested from the user’s soul. At this rank it is physical and somewhat unstable while at the same time giving the user a minor set of abilities. It also grants a more resilient body but can still be killed by hitting vital areas like the heart and brain. What a Holy Relic does varies from individual to individual.
- Yetzirah, The second level of the Ewigkeit formula, when the Holy Relic is finally starting to show their particular traits. The Holy Relic is now stable and can be weaponized. His or her body is now strengthened to superhuman levels, as well as no longer able to killed through their vital areas and their bodies ceasing to age, although the soul will continue to do so.
- Briah, The third level of the Ewigkeit formula, which allows the user's absolute deepest desire to be made reality. There are two different types of Briah: Transcendence (Which is when one's desire compresses inwards i.e. themselves) and Hegemony (When one's desire compresses outwards i.e. others).
- Aztiluth, The final and ultimate level of the Die Ewigkeit formula, when the user becomes a full-blown God and starts to paint over reality with their own Law, essentially making the universe/multiverse a canvas.
Swastika[]
Ahnenerbe of Sonnenkind, it is the land that was chosen to be the ground for Transmutation of Gold. There are eight spots of Swastika spread through out the land. In order to "open" each, a sacrfice of soul with enough quality or quantity is require.
Transmutation of Gold[]
The ultimate goal of Longinus Dreizehn Orden. By open all eight Swastikas and the presence of the Pentachroma, all souls in Suwahara City will be used as sacrfices to summon and emanating Reinhard's castle onto the universe. The Foreknowledge will be replaced by a new law, in which immortal warriors will fight for eternity.
Factions[]
Longinus Dreizehn Orden[]
Also known as Obsedian Round Table, are the group of powerful Ewigkeit users created by Reinhard Heydrich and Karl Ernst Krafft. Only by open 7/8 Swastika can the castle begin to manifest. Comepletion of Transmutation will result in the castle full repiant the universe.
